The Chimes, Inc. is seeking dedicated direct-support professionals to help residents with intellectual and behavioral challenges in a home setting. You will provide personal support, monitor safety, and assist with daily living activities, while following individualized plans to promote independence.

Compensation is $19.75 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package. Expect a full-time schedule, including some nights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for ongoing training and career

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push adequate weight (>50 pounds).
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.

Mansioni

• Provide personal support in the residence and engage with the person served at home and in the community.
• Supervise and train adults with developmental disabilities per individual plans.
• Ensure the house is personalized to each person’s preferences and needs.
• Assist with daily living activities, including mobility, budgeting, and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain MAR accuracy.
• Maintain records and reports (monthly, incident, seizure, etc.).
• Transport persons served to appointments and community activities.
• Communicate medical concerns to the Registered Nurse and supervisor promptly.
• Attend team meetings and participate in trainings.
