Chimes is a not-for-profit organization providing diverse services to people with intellectual and behavioral challenges. This role involves direct residential support, assisting individuals in daily living, safety, and community activities.

Responsibilities include implementing individual plans, promoting independent living skills, and communicating needs to supervisors. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift are required; the position may involve nights, weekends, and holidays.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull as required (may be 50+ pounds).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Mansioni

• Work in the residence of a person served as a personal assistant and support their activities.
• Provide supervision and training to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Help personalize the home to the person’s preferences and needs.
• Follow program plans and maintain confidentiality and safety.
