Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations within our communities. The role demands professionalism and positive engagement with residents and staff.

Strong client focus, collaboration with partners, and adherence to Fair Housing guidelines are essential. The position emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service, processing applications, and coordinating with the Community Manager to ensure smooth move-ins and renewals.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• LIHTC experience highly desired.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, Internet and email.
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service at all times and greet/qualify prospects.
• Process applications, collect deposits, and ensure move-in readiness.
• Maintain resident files and process renewals; manage notices.
• Type leases and input data in Yardi accurately and timely.
• Assist with maintenance requests and communicate with the team.
• Support community management with policies and procedures.
