Job summary

ECS is seeking an Assistant Support Services Manager to oversee the Support Services program at housing sites in San Francisco, providing intensive social work and direct services to formerly homeless adults.

The role requires in-person engagement, case management, and supervision of staff. Strong clinical background, crisis intervention, and knowledge of community resources are essential.

Qualifications

• MSW or MA in psychology, counseling, or social work; LCSW or MFT preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with homeless or very low income adults is preferred.
• Spanish language ability is desirable.
• Strong charting, recordkeeping and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site case management and supportive services.
• Perform intake assessments at move-in and document within 3 business days.
• Maintain resident caseload and coordinate with SSM and other providers.
• Supervise case management staff and assist with payroll and evaluations.
• Coordinate data collection for ECS funding and reporting.
• Develop and facilitate weekly therapeutic/psycho-educational groups.
• Maintain confidential resident records and timely documentation.
