Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for a 120-unit property in Los Angeles. You will support day-to-day property operations, tenant communications, rent collection, move-ins/move-outs, and vendor coordination under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year property management experience (TCAC preferred) or 2 years admin/customer service; English proficiency, Spanish bilingual a plus, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year property management experience preferred (TCAC properties) or 2 years general admin/customer service experience.
• Ability to speak, read and write English; Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to draft reports.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, file, prepare notices and support meetings.
• Maintain tenant files, service requests, purchase orders and incident reports.
• Process rental applications, rent collections, move-ins/move-outs and re-certifications.
• Coordinate vendor work, conduct property inspections and log work orders.
• Maintain positive tenant relations and communicate with staff.
