Job summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services seeks a Residential Services Coordinator for the Francis Place 24/7 facility serving chronically homeless adults. The role focuses on crisis management, milieu relationships, and safe building operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, engaging residents, and recording daily logs. Overnight, weekend, and on-call coverage are required, with benefits and collective bargaining terms noted in the agreement.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience working with individuals displaying a wide range of unpleasant and/or challenging behaviors.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be available to work some evening and weekend shifts.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff from various backgrounds.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and community partners.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Ability to learn crisis intervention skills and behavior management.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Reliable transportation and WA State Driver’s License/ WA State I.D.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Active or ability to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Active or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Interact and model appropriate professional behaviors with residents in the general milieu of Francis Place common areas.
• Coordinate and facilitate outside services with residents; schedule, confirm and manage a variety of appointments.
• Provide outreach and engagement of service-resistant residents through creative strategies that build trust and confidence.
• Initiate, facilitate and promote on-site recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure lobby office functions run efficiently: check visitors in/out, answer phones, monitor security systems.
