Fairfield Residential is seeking a Resident Service Associate in San Jose, CA to be the friendly face for prospective and current residents. You will assist with leasing activities and ensure a smooth move-in experience, contributing to a welcoming community and property success.

You'll handle leasing support, customer service, and property upkeep, while upholding compliance and company standards. Strong communication and organizational skills help you thrive in a fast-paced multifamily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales, or retail position.
• Previous leasing/customer service experience preferred.
• Experience using Yardi or other property management accounting software preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong typing skills.
• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
• Understanding of applicable federal, state and local fair housing laws.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented; ability to manage conflicting priorities and to adjust priorities on a daily basis.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assist with qualifying prospects and preparing lease paperwork.
• Conduct virtual tours and prepare move-in packets.
• Verify application details and forward for approval.
• Respond to resident inquiries and maintenance requests.
• Support rent collection and renewal processes.
• Make welcome and follow-up calls to residents.
• Inspect common areas and vacant units for cleanliness.
• Coordinate with maintenance for unit readiness.
• Open and close models and amenities daily.
• Support marketing activities and surveys.
• Participate in required training and ensure compliance with laws and company standards.
