Job summary

Savant Senior Living in San Dimas, CA seeks a Resident Services Director to lead care quality and program delivery for our senior residents. You will direct wellness staff, coordinate with families, and ensure plans meet state requirements, while overseeing nursing services as needed.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on senior care experience, strong people management, and solid knowledge of medications and their side effects. LVN preferred; passion for resident well-being is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with seniors.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Knowledge of medications, dosages, terminology, and side effects.
• Demonstrated integrity, verbal/written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 2 years of behavioral management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and continuity of care by directing wellness staff through communication with residents, families and staff.
• Review and update service plans per state requirements.
• Perform and supervise the performance of individual nursing services as required.
• Assess prospective residents to determine care needs and potential residency.

What you will do:

• The Resident Services Director will oversee quality, continuity and appropriateness of care by providing direction to the wellness staff through communication with residents, families and staff assuring individual care.
• Review and update service plans according to state requirements.
• Perform and supervise the performance of individual nursing services as required.
• Assess prospective residents to determine care needs and potential residency.

Must haves:

• 1 year working with seniors. Knowledge of health factors in seniors is needed.
• 2 years people management experience.
• Knowledge of medication, dosage, terminology, and medication side effects.
• Proven track record of integrity, verbal/written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 2 Years of Behavioral Management experience.

Would be great:

• Experience working in the senior care industry
• LVN license preferred
