Job summary

Savant of Alhambra is seeking a proactive Resident Services Director to oversee quality and continuity of care. You will lead the wellness team, coordinate with residents, families and staff, and ensure services meet state requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong people management, a solid understanding of senior health factors, and a commitment to a warm, inclusive environment. LVN licensed is a plus; we offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year working with seniors
• 2 years people management experience
• Knowledge of medication, dosage, terminology, and side effects
• Proven track record of integrity, verbal/written communication, and problem-solving skills
• 2 years of Behavioral Management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, continuity and appropriateness of care by directing wellness staff with residents, families and staff
• Review and update service plans to meet state requirements
• Perform and supervise nursing services as required
• Assess prospective residents to determine care needs and residency suitability

What you will do:

• The Resident Services Director will oversee quality, continuity and appropriateness of care by providing direction to the wellness staff through communication with residents, families and staff assuring individual care.
• Review and update service plans according to state requirements.
• Perform and supervise the performance of individual nursing services as required.
• Assess prospective residents to determine care needs and potential residency.

Must haves:

• 1 year working with seniors. Knowledge of health factors in seniors is needed.
• 2 years people management experience.
• Knowledge of medication, dosage, terminology, and medication side effects.
• Proven track record of integrity, verbal/written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 2 Years of Behavioral Management experience.

Would be great:

• Experience working in the senior care industry
• LVN license preferred
