Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Service Coordinator to manage programs and services for Eden Heights residents. You will partner with local agencies and providers to ensure residents access needed resources and support to maintain quality of life.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, developing referral networks, and delivering excellent resident service. Strong advocacy, organization and communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Two+ years in social service delivery with elderly/family populations.
• Ability to advocate, organize, and deliver results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and service providers.
• Identify low-cost providers and negotiate discounts.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to services.
• Develop a Resource Directory of local providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, life skills, referrals.
• Provide quality customer service addressing concerns and needs.
• Assist residents in accessing community services and supports.
• Report complaints and maintain effective relationships.
