Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking a full-time Resident Services Coordinator to support Beyond Homes initiatives across affordable housing developments in Los Angeles County. The role emphasizes light case management, service coordination with local partners, and engagement to promote stability and aging in place for residents.

The position requires an Associate's degree (or equivalent) and at least two years in social work or related fields, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent, and a minimum two years related experience in social work, human services, case management, and/or related field required.
• Strong ability to initiate and maintain effective, cooperative-working relationships with community-based organizations, public and private organizations required.
• Strong ability to organize and oversee meetings, activities and events and have an ability to effectively network in the community required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Exceptional public speaking abilities and facilitation skills required.
• Intermediate computer skills with Excel, Word, Email and Internet required.

Responsibilities

• This position will be working primarily in light case management, and in service coordination with Abode's local Partners and working with our on-site Beyond Homes services program.
• This role involves coordinating and overseeing community development activities under Beyond Homes initiatives.
• Track programs and referrals through daily attendance, referral notes, case notes, and ResidentConnect database.
