Job summary

Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) is seeking a Service Coordinator to deliver on-site resident services, coordinate programs, and engage with residents at two Berkeley properties. You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to promote housing stability and outreach.

Qualified candidates will have 2–3 years’ experience with diverse communities, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus and training

Qualifications

• Experience with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Multilingual abilities (Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Russian or Spanish) a plus.
• Basic budgeting skills.
• Willingness to complete mandatory trainings (36 hours first year; 12 hours annually).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site direct services to residents.
• Plan and facilitate programs, events, and community initiatives.
• Foster and maintain relationships with residents, staff, and community organizations.
• Support two SAHA properties in Berkeley, CA, as assigned.
