Qualifications

• Residential Coordinators have 1 year of direct work with people with developmental disabilities.
• DD Certification through MSU Developmental Disabilities per prescribed schedule.
• CPR and First Aid and/or Therapeutic Responses via Positive Behavior Support.
• Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement creative plans.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills.
• Exercise discretion, judgment and confidentiality.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of department information and files.
• Ensure compliance with ESGWND policies and safety standards across regions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs and services as directed by the Regional Director.
• Assist and supervise staff to complete documentation on time and review results for progress toward goals.
• Help people manage finances, obtain financial assistance, safeguard possessions, arrange transportation, and engage with the community.
• Supervise DSPs/ESPs and contribute to payroll accuracy.
• Maintain home safety and health standards and ensure appropriate living arrangements.
