Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking a PRN Concierge to provide an exceptional first impression and welcoming service for visitors, residents, and associates.

The role includes second and third shifts (3-11pm and 11pm-7am) with variable shift days. Responsibilities include answering calls, directing visitors, monitoring security systems, and supporting operations across departments.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience that includes meeting the public, answering phones, and providing customer service.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic word processing and Outlook; knowledge of Word and Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers and directs telephone calls to residents and departments in a friendly and timely manner.
• Monitors fire alarm system and notifies appropriate personnel and authorities.
• Monitors CCTV to verify identity and authorizes entry of individuals.
• Screens visitors in the lobby 24/7 and maintains logs.
• Provides greeter service at the Hospitality Desk and directs visitors to correct departments.
• Supports safety and security by monitoring visitors and preventing unauthorized access.
• Supports marketing and HR by sharing inquiries and processing applications.
• Coordinates maintenance work orders and dispatches personnel as needed.
