Job summary

Encore Village in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a PRN Concierge to welcome residents, visitors and associates with a courteous, knowledgeable presence. This role includes front desk reception, guest assistance, light clerical tasks, and coordination with security, maintenance and activities staff.

Shifts are evenings and overnight with variable days. The position requires strong communication and customer service in a busy community setting, with adaptability for changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Two years work experience that includes meeting the public, answering phones, and providing customer service.
• Experience in working with older adults preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer word processing and Outlook; Word and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers and directs telephone calls to residents and departments in a friendly and timely manner.
• Monitors emergency systems and coordinates dispatch with RSA, maintenance, and local responders as needed.
• Greets visitors at the Hospitality Desk and directs them to appropriate departments or staff.
• Supports marketing, HR, and volunteer activities by providing information and materials as requested.
