Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator at Garden Gates, a 240-unit affordable housing community, to enhance residents' quality of life by connecting them to essential services and fostering community.

You will work with residents, management, and providers to educate on programs, maintain confidential records, and advocate for access to resources, prioritizing independence and health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Public Health or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• At least 2 years of experience in resident/social service programs (preferably in affordable housing).
• Strong knowledge of local resources and federal/state programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and connect residents to appropriate services with individualized assistance.
• Educate residents and families on services, eligibility, and application processes.
• Organize activities to encourage engagement and neighborly support.
• Liaise between residents, property management, and external providers.
• Maintain confidential files, service logs, and prepare quarterly summaries.
• Advocate for residents and negotiate with service providers to remove barriers.
• Collaborate to plan monthly events and develop volunteer programs.
