Job summary

Catholic Housing Services seeks a Resident Services Coordinator for Tumwater Apartments. You will be part of the on-site team, helping residents access services to maintain independence and well-being.

You will connect residents to social services, crisis intervention, employment, education, and health resources, while coordinating with staff and external providers. The role supports building health and safety, collaborates with management, and helps plan community activities.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience working with seniors and/or people with special needs OR a BA or BSW in social service field.
• Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with ability to maintain client records, and use standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and engagement services to residents, assess needs, and connect to services.
• Collaborate with on-site manager to identify lease/house-rule issues and assist in inspections.
• Assist residents in applying for resources including income, health care, and transportation.
• Develop relationships with community resources and coordinate access to services.
• Educate residents on service availability and procedures for access to resources.
• Advise residents and advocate for access to needed supports and programs.
• Organize resident meetings, coordinate activities, and help build informal resident networks.
• Maintain resident records and required case notes in the online system.
