Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee daily maintenance operations in a skilled nursing facility. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and quality resident experiences through hands-on supervision of trades, adherence to MSDS guidelines, and coordination with leadership.

The incumbent will supervise staff, assist in setting standards, and ensure preventive maintenance and safety programs are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Maintenance Director in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of state, local, and federal regulations for nursing facilities.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, carpentry, painting and sheetrock.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance staff and activities.
• Assist Administrator in setting maintenance standards and procedures.
• Standardize methods for daily maintenance tasks and ensure MSDS compliance.
• Test alarms and fire systems per guidelines; schedule and document safety items.
• Conduct rounds to identify repairs; participate in staff safety training and OSHA rules.
• Ensure PPE availability and proper handling/storage of hazardous materials; maintain equipment cleanliness.
