Job summary

Atlanta Housing is seeking a Resident Resource Coordinator to support families within the Resident Empowerment department. You will manage a caseload, assess needs, and develop Individual Service Plans to promote employment, education, financial literacy and personal well-being.

Travel within Atlanta city limits and home visits are required. The role emphasizes collaboration with community agencies, timely referrals, and strong client-centered communication to help residents achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human or social services, public administration, or related field required.
• Four (4) years of human development case management experience to include working with low-income individuals and families.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Family Self-Sufficiency Program and housing choice voucher/public housing.
• Ability to manage an active caseload of up to 150 participants effectively.
• Strong ability to work with individuals with complex issues and apply case management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an ongoing minimum caseload of 25 families with outreach and recruitment.
• Completes assessments with participants on enrollment to identify strengths, resources, goals, barriers and needs.
• Develops Individual Service Plans and guides participants toward employment, education, financial management and well-being.
• Establishes relationships with area human service agencies and coordinates referrals for services.
• Assists participants with education and training opportunities.
• Reviews service plan goals and follows up on progress toward goals.
• Manages household crises and monitors status; conducts resource briefings and employment/education events.
• Maintains participant files and performs other duties as assigned.
