Volunteer Properties in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to help oversee daily operations at a multi-family community. You will support leasing, resident relations, rent collection, renewals, and overall property performance.

This role is ideal for organized, people-focused individuals who want to grow in property management, with 2+ years of assistant property manager experience and onsite experience preferred. Benefits include medical, 401(k), PTO, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years assistant property manager experience
• Onsite experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to learn new systems
• Experience with conflict resolution and tenant relations
• Positive, energetic, and aligned with company values
• Must be able to provide proof of valid vehicle insurance.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with residents and prospects
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure completion
• Handle leasing tours and questions
• Process rent payments and late notices
• Manage renewals and retention efforts
• Maintain resident files and property records
• Assist the Community Manager with daily operations
• Take on additional projects as needed
