Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager who supports the Community Manager in day-to-day operations, leasing, marketing, and resident relations at our Fort Worth property.

You will handle data entry in the Yardi system, maintain rental records, process applications, assist with renewals, and help keep the community clean and compliant with Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• English proficiency; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Apartment management experience preferred.
• Ability to work most weekends.
• Neat, professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials and show units; screen applicants.
• Maintain rental level records for comparable units in the area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas to drive occupancy.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and partners.
• Process applications, credit checks, and renewals; assist with renewals.
• Handle rent collection and input lease information in Yardi.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on invoices and approvals.
• Support maintenance requests and resident inquiries promptly.
