Job summary

Benedictine is a not-for-profit senior care organization dedicated to compassionate, quality nutrition care. As a Registered Dietitian, you will complete nutritional assessments and collaborate with the care provider team to support residents and their families.

You will identify nutrition needs, initiate dietary interventions, assist in menu planning, and use menu management software while providing education to residents, staff and the community.

Qualifications

• Licensed per state requirement, in good standing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a nutrition or dietetics program, and current registration or registry-eligible.
• Maintain continuing education credits as mandated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Service oriented with good communication skills.
• Functions as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the nutrition needs of residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and maintain residents' nutritional status.
• Participate in planning menus and managing the menu management software, ensuring license guidelines are followed.
• Provide education to patients, residents, staff and the public; act as a resource to the department and community.
