Job summary

Jewish Family and Children’s Services seeks an Associate Resident Mentor to support residents in daily activities, follow the Participant Program Plan, and help create a safe, engaging living environment under the Residential Manager.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers benefits, a 403(b) match, customizable cafeteria plans, and paid holidays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; paid training provided.
• Experience in caregiving or instructional role preferred.
• Experience with adults not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents with daily routines and PPP goals.
• Provides hygiene, safety, and social/recreational support.
• Monitors medication and accompanies residents to appointments.
• Completes daily documentation and progress notes.
• Prepares meals for residents.
• Exhibits mature judgment and respectful interactions.
