Job summary

Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS) invites applications for an Associate Resident Mentor in San Francisco. You will support residents in daily routines, reinforce Independent Living Skills, and help build independence in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paid training provided; no prior experience with adults with IDD required.
• Experience in caregiving or supportive roles preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets/Drive.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in following daily routines and PPP goals.
• Provide day-to-day assistance with hygiene, safety, personal and social activities.
• Monitor medications and accompany residents to appointments.
• Encourage social activities and community integration.
• Complete daily progress notes and reports.
