Job summary

WELLQUEST LIVING LLC is seeking a Medication Technician to safely administer medications to residents under physician direction and in accordance with state standards. The role reports to Health Services Director and supports documentation, inventory, and care coordination.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in medication administration, with completion of required training.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Company’s Medication Administration Course with a passing grade.
• Completed all state-required medication training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy and physician, informing the local pharmacy of needs before resident arrival.
• Order and track medication changes and refills.
• Report changes in residents' status related to medications to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate MAR records and complete monthly audits of resident charts.
• Keep medicine carts and rooms clean, stocked and secure; ensure proper storage of medications.
