Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living at Shaker, located in Albany, NY, is seeking a dedicated Resident Medication Aide to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. This per diem position involves every other weekend shifts and requires compliance with state regulations and med administration standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of resident care experience required.
• Complete all trainings as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring the medication program.
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the MAR for all residents.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Resident Medication Aide.

Resident Medication Aide Responsibilities include

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights

• Assist in monitoring the medication program
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents

Resident Medication Aide Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of resident care experience and/or training required
• Successfully complete all trainings as required by state regulations
