Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support daily programs and planned events for residents in our community. This role focuses on facilitating activities, coordinating with departments, and fostering a welcoming environment.

You will engage residents, families, and local groups, adapting activities to individual needs and ensuring smooth setup and breakdown of events. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• 1+ years in social or recreational programming in Health Care or related field preferred.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and implementation of the Life Enrichment programs.
• Facilitate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Promote positive interaction between residents, families, and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with resident outings.
• Adapt to match each resident's needs, preferred communication, and engagement style.
• Assist in set up and break-down of special events.
• Support residents in transportation to appointments and outings.
• Document resident participation in the Resident Engagement Record.
• Preserve the appearance of activity areas, program supplies, and equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
