Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support daily programs and events and assist with Rocksteady Boxing onsite. You will help plan activities, coordinate with other departments, and ensure residents enjoy a positive, engaging community experience.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ years in social or recreational programming in health care, strong English communication, and be comfortable using Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• One + years of experience in social or recreational programming in Health Care or related field preferred.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Life Enrichment programs.
• Facilitate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Assist with Rocksteady Boxing classes.
• Promote positive interaction between residents, families, and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with resident outings.
• Adapt to match each resident's needs, preferred communication, and engagement style.
• Assist in set up and break-down of special events.
• Support residents in transportation to appointments and outings.
• Document resident participation in the Resident Engagement Record.
• Preserve the appearance of activity areas, program supplies, and equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
