Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help facilitate day-to-day programs and scheduled events for residents in our community. This role supports resident engagement and promotes events that contribute to a positive living environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating enrichment activities, collaborating with other departments, and maintaining records of resident participation. Strong communication and computer skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, residents, and families.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and implementation of the Life Enrichment programs.
• Facilitate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Promote positive interaction between residents, families, and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with resident outings.
• Adapt to match each resident's needs, preferred communication, and engagement style.
• Assist in set up and break-down of special events.
• Support residents in transportation to appointments and outings.
• Communicate regularly with Director of Life Enrichment regarding needs and concerns of residents.
