Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents. You will support the Life Enrichment team by coordinating events, outings, and in-house programs that enhance well-being and social interaction across the community.

In this role, you will assist with calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with external organizations while ensuring activities meet residents' needs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordination with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside events; drive company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
