Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator in Lexington, KY, to plan and execute a comprehensive program that enhances residents’ social, physical, and emotional well-being.

You will partner with residents, families, and staff to reflect individual life stories, create meaningful activities, and foster a joyful community environment. This role includes event planning, transportation duties, and collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, programs, holidays, and special events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decoration displays for the community.
• Contribute to resident assessments by assisting Life Stories completion.
• Assist in taking activity attendance and family messaging in Cedarhurst’s electronic platform.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings provided by Home Office Support.
• Drive community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with residents’ families about physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and management, handle conflicts, and take initiative as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
