You will support residents' psychosocial, medical, and activity needs, coordinating with staff and families to enhance quality of life. The role emphasizes empathy, punctuality, and clear communication with healthcare professionals and the community.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience or related volunteering/personal experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and State activity regulations or ability to interpret them.
• Must read and write English.
• Bilingual abilities may be preferred depending on the facility.
• Must have a valid IL driver’s license.
• Punctual and time-efficient, especially in following the activity calendar.
• Empathy, compassion, enthusiasm, and positive interaction with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to relate to ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile individuals.
• Effective communication with community, health professionals, and other providers.
