Job summary

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 1 year healthcare experience, ability to read and write English, and a valid IL driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience or related volunteering/ personal experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state activity regulations and ability to interpret them.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Bilingual abilities may be preferred depending on facility.
• Valid IL driver's license.
• Punctuality and time efficiency in following the activity calendar.
• Empathy, compassion, and upbeat interaction with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to relate to ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activity calendar tasks as set by the Activity Director.
• Support and follow the Activity Program's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to achieving the highest quality of life for each resident by addressing psychosocial, medical, and activity needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external organizations.
