Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking an Activity Aide in Illinois to implement the daily activity calendar under the Activity Director. You will support residents' psychosocial and medical activity needs while adhering to facility policies and state/federal regulations.

You will build person-centered activities, document progress, collaborate with staff and volunteers, and help coordinate resident outings, ensuring safety and engagement throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year healthcare experience.
• Read and write English; IL driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Federal/State activity regulations.
• Bi-lingual abilities preferred by facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement daily activity program under Activity Director.
• Develop person-centered activities addressing residents’ interests and needs.
• Document participation and progress notes as required.
• Coordinate community involvement and resident outings.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure safety and engagement.
