Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in recreation or related field required.
• 3+ years of Activities/Recreation experience including supervisory experience.
• National certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation (NCTR) or to be an OTA, or NY state–approved certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experience.
• Develop and implement activity policies and procedures.
• Plan a variety of engaging programs 7 days a week.
• Prepare monthly calendars and staffing schedules.
• Document activity progress notes and resident responses.
