Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation preferred.
• Certification per National Certification Council of Activity Professionals (ADC) or National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRS).
• Two years' experience in a social or recreational program, health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements recreational services to improve quality of life for patients/residents.
• Completes assessments, care plans, MDS and designs activities to meet functional levels and interests.
• Provides in-room activities for confined residents and organizes activities aligned with life-long interests.
