Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking an activities program leader to plan, organize, and direct the operation of the Activity Program in a long-term care facility, aligning with resident care plans and state/federal standards.

You will hire, mentor, and schedule staff, develop daily activity plans, manage the department budget, and coordinate with other departments to engage residents and families in meaningful programs while safeguarding privacy and following HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of skilled nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the operation of the Activity Program to meet resident care plans and standards.
• Hire, mentor, and schedule staff; evaluate workforce and report recommendations to Administration.
• Develop and implement a daily activity program that meets residents' needs and stays within budget.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and engage residents, families, and the community.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect resident privacy; participate in facility surveys and quality committees.
