Job summary

PACS Group seeks an Activity Director to plan and direct the Activity Department in our Oregon facility. You will design resident-centered activities aligned with regulations and the assessment results, coordinating with staff and families to meet residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.

Strong communication and leadership are essential. Responsibilities include developing monthly schedules, ensuring documentation, and participating in quality initiatives and surveys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferable one-year experience in a long-term care facility.
• Activity Director certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct resident-centered activities.
• Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations and professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and external agencies to serve residents' needs.
• Participate in surveys and quality initiatives to improve activity services.
• Develop monthly activity schedules and arrange transportation when needed.
