Benchmark Senior Living in Hartford, VT is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will launder towels, bed linens, and resident clothing, and keep resident apartments tidy and well-organized.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans and redistributes the resident laundry.
• Washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of resident clothing and linens.
• Ensures that all laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Ensures that all laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Also keeps laundry department clean.
• Reports any laundry equipment problems to department supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
