Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean community for residents, associates, and visitors at Mount Pleasant in Thornwood, NY. You will launder towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, and you will care for resident apartments to meet our standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings preferred, but we will train.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans all assigned resident apartments as scheduled.
• Cleans all common areas including elevators, halls, lobbies, and stairs.
• Maintains a clean laundry room and stores chemicals per supervisor instructions.
• Launders towels, bed linens, and resident laundry as needed.
