Mission Action in San Francisco seeks a Health Promoter/House Monitor to support residents of the Richard M. Cohen Residence. You will monitor site safety, respond to emergencies, and provide health education and treatment adherence support.

The role works with a team to coordinate care and services, supports house meetings and community activities, and requires experience with HIV/AIDS or homelessness, plus strong communication and crisis-management skills.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of direct service experience in case management or health education.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS or homelessness populations.
• Crisis intervention, boundaries, conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Understanding of homelessness and San Francisco communities.

Responsabilidades

• Screen visitors and act as first contact for residents and guests.
• Provide health education and treatment adherence support to residents.
• Oversee building activity and respond to emergencies per protocol.
• Coordinate care with Lead Promoter and Clinical Social Worker.
• Assist with house meetings, community activities, and admin tasks.
• Participate in staff training and meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
