Job summary

Heluna Health is seeking a Senior Community Safety Ambassador in San Francisco to support the City’s Breaking the Cycle initiative. This part-time, grant-funded role focuses on outreach, intervention, and de-escalation services for unhoused individuals and those in behavioral health crises.

Under supervision, you will deploy with a two-person team, coordinate with local stakeholders, and help connect people to city systems of care. Prior outreach experience and bilingual ability are valued.

Qualifications

• Two years of street outreach experience is required.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and collaborate with City agencies.
• Spanish language ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploys with team to provide services as requested by the City.
• Takes direction from Supervisor to support target population.
• Leads field operations and provides real-time coaching to junior Ambassadors.
• Maintains documentation according to program requirements.
• Supports coordination with partner agencies and service providers.
