Job summary

Northern Place in Columbus, OH is seeking a Property Manager to oversee all operational and financial aspects of the property, including leasing, maintenance, collections, resident services and compliance with HUD and fair housing laws.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, reporting and the ability to coordinate staff, manage vacancies, and ensure property reporting is timely. HS diploma required; 2 years Affordable Housing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college beneficial.
• Experience: 2+ years in Affordable Housing preferred.
• Licenses: COS/TCS beneficial; valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leasing and maintenance staff; delegate, train, schedule.
• Maintain occupancy by retaining residents and processing move-ins.
• Administer HUD recertifications and review EIV and HAP vouchers.
• Manage rent collections, delinquency reporting, and budget.
• Oversee property maintenance, inspections, and capital projects.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
