Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Prior porter/maintenance experience in residential property management or related fields.
• Resident service mindset: Personable, approachable, and customer-service-driven.
• Technical skills: Basic computer literacy to access company apps and schedules.
• Efficiency & autonomy: Detail-oriented and able to prioritize daily cleaning with minimal supervision.
• Safety awareness: Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Community curb appeal & grounds: Remove litter, debris, and maintain walkways, parking areas, and landscaping.
• Amenity & common area care: Clean shared spaces including leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, laundry, and restrooms.
• Waste & trash management: Keep chute rooms clean and manage bulky items during move-outs.
• Apartment turnover support: Prep vacant units, remove leftovers, and replace light bulbs and filters.
• Floor & surface upkeep: Sweep, mop, power-wash, vacuum, and dust fixtures and surfaces.
• Safety & hazard reporting: Inspect for safety issues and report to management.
• Resident relations: Provide courteous service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
• General upkeep: Assist with seasonal tasks and other duties as assigned.
