Job summary

Camden is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for move-in. You will work with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, the ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of apartment maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification highly desired.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Toubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and address or report them to supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs.
• Maintain community appearance: lighting, trash removal, painting.
• Record service data in Onesite for requests, PMs, and make-readies.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, notices, and inspections.
