Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Florida to uphold building safety, cleanliness, and functionality across our properties. The role requires performing routine maintenance, handling repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, and supporting make-ready processes for leasing.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to work weekends are essential. You will use maintenance management systems, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to resident

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• On-site five days a week; not remote or hybrid.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays/on-call.
• Must be able to walk property, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work across appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
• Diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Respond to resident service requests with a customer-first approach.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and document work orders in systems.
