Job summary
Article Student Living is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH to maintain safety, appearance, and operations across our property. You will ensure curb appeal and deliver professional service to residents with a neat personal presentation.
Responsibilities include supporting the Maintenance Supervisor, addressing property issues, and proposing efficiency improvements. On-call duties may apply at times.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related maintenance or construction work experience.
- Customer service focused with professional appearance.
- Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems and common issues.
- Experience with appliance repair and installation for in-unit appliances.
- Experience with drywall repair, patching, sanding, finishing.
- Comfortable interior and exterior painting including prep and finishing.
- Basic plumbing knowledge for leaks, clogs, fixtures.
- Basic electrical knowledge for outlets, switches, and fixtures.
Responsibilities
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring a safe environment for staff and residents.
- Resolve issues in the community and property.
- Provide suggestions for opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- On-call during certain times of the month.
