Job summary
Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in operating and repairing the community. The role focuses on safe, clean, and comfortable living spaces for residents and families, with duties spanning electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.

Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with residents and their families.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
- Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
- Work outside on exterior tasks including irrigation, vegetation, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
