Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the residence and grounds are safe, attractive, and compliant with OSHA, MSDS, and state/federal regulations in a Florida community.

The role includes inspecting facilities, coordinating repairs, supervising maintenance staff, and supporting resident move-ins/move-outs while maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems.

Qualifications

• High school education; associates/bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year general maintenance experience.
• 1+ year supervision/management experience preferred.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff and residents.
• Knowledge of safety and fire codes; OSHA/MSDS knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions; proactive learner.
• Passion to work with and around senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Inspects residence and grounds regularly for repairs.
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests.
• Prepares resident rooms for new arrivals and moves.
• Maintains grounds and coordinates lawn/outsourced services.
• Tests fire protection and security systems as required.
• Maintains HVAC, lighting, plumbing in good working order.
• Safely manages maintenance equipment and waste disposal.
• Conducts safety inspections and emergency drills.
• Participates in safety training and staff recruitment when applicable.
• Manages time and assigns maintenance staff to meet community needs.
