Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance team member to support daily upkeep of floors, common areas, and exterior spaces within a senior living community.

You will follow direction from the Director of Maintenance, perform routine repairs, report hazards, and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors. The role requires weekend/holiday recall and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, residents, families, and staff.
• Familiarity with using maintenance equipment used for building upkeep.
• Patience and ability to work with ill or elderly residents.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours when problems arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on floors (carpet cleaning, stripping, sealing, waxing) for timely workflow.
• Inspect hallways for carpet cleaning needs and trash removal.
• Perform general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, A/C filters) as directed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Be on-call for weekends/holidays for maintenance emergencies.
• Obtain authorization prior to entering apartments and ensure safety of residents.
